Desk-based modelling based on your use case, floor plans and building materials. Fastest and most affordable. A great starting point for new builds and getting an indicative idea for the scale of requirement.
We review your config, visit your site and silently measure existing signal, interference and security vulnerabilities. We provide you with a detailed current state report, as well as a clear list of actions you can take to improve your network.
We discuss what you want WiFi to do, we visit your site and perform active signal testing; checking what the impact of walls, floors, equipment, stock, furniture, are on coverage. From this data we then produce a validated WiFi design based on your real world environment

A quick 15-minute conversation to understand your space, your users and what's going wrong (or what you're planning). We recommend the right survey type and give you a price.
A certified consultant arrives with industry leading (Ekahau) equipment, walks the building systematically, measures signal strength, interference and assesses the physical building
Written up, peer-reviewed, and delivered document pack. Fixed-price installation quote follows within 24 hours. Yours to keep, yours to act on.
That's for a single-site office up to around 2,500 sq ft. Larger sites and complex buildings are priced below.
A WiFi site survey is a professional assessment of a building's wireless coverage, capacity and interference. An engineer uses specialist tools to measure signal strength, identify dead zones and determine the correct number and placement of access points. It's the foundation of any properly designed WiFi network.
Our WiFi site surveys start from £495 for a single-site office. Larger or more complex sites like warehouses, schools and multi-floor buildings are quoted based on the internal complexity and scale. The survey fee is credited in full against installation, if you proceed with Haptic for supply and installation of a new solution.
Most office surveys take two to four hours on-site, followed by two to three days to produce the full report. Warehouses and larger sites may require a full day on-site. We run through with you at proposal stage what access is required and estimated time on site. You receive your report and fixed-price installation quote within 24 hours of the site visit being written up.
A predictive survey uses floor plans and modelling software to design WiFi coverage before any hardware is installed — useful for new builds and fit-outs. An on-site survey involves an engineer measuring real signal data in your actual building. We always advise following up a predictive survey with an on-site survey, either pre or post deployment, to ensure your systems are fully optimised and any third-party systems are identified and mitigated.
The survey fee is credited in full against installation if you proceed with Haptic. If you choose to use the report with another provider, or not install at all, the survey fee covers our consultant's time and produces a report that's genuinely useful to whoever reads it.
Yes. We regularly survey listed buildings, warehouses, offshore sites, schools and hospitality venues. Unusual buildings are where a proper survey matters most — that's where generic quotes tend to be wildly wrong.
Yes. Once paid, the report is yours to use however you like — compare quotes, brief an architect, share with your IT team, or take to a different installer. We don't lock reports to Haptic installations.
In short, we do it properly. Even for a small site, around 2,500 sq ft, the total time investment for review, on-site data collection and write-up would be at least 1.5 working days. This specialist consultant time, plus the industry-leading software and surveying equipment we use, clearly has a cost. If a company is offering it for free, they are either not doing it properly or holding back on the information they give you to lock you into working with them to recoup their investment. We don’t work like this; you pay for the job, and then the data is yours to use as you wish. If you want to work with us then great; we’ll credit the cost back to you.
